Archbishop Angaelos on Egyptian church history and religious freedom today

Today’s guest is Archbishop Angaelos, who became the first Coptic Orthodox Archbishop of London in 2017.

With a pastoral ministry spanning more than two decades, Egyptian-born Archbishop Angaelos, is widely recognised for his extensive advocacy work and passion for religious freedom. Annabel Moule met up online with Archbishop Angaelos to talk about SAT-7's latest resource, 40 Days of Prayer for the Middle East; a spiritual travel journal, from Morocco in the west to Afghanistan in the east.

In 40 Days of Prayer for the Middle East, we’ll travel from Morocco in the west to Afghanistan in the east, meeting local believers and churches along the way. We’ll hear how God is at work through SAT-7, and discover the ancient and often unknown Christian heritage of the region.
