From Telford to Tehran, Inverness to Istanbul, our deepest hopes are strikingly similar: for safety, family, health, home, and a brighter tomorrow. This Advent, discover stories of hope from believers across the Middle East and North Africa – stories that reach beyond the headlines of conflict and hardship to reveal the ordinary longings we all share.
As Christmas approaches, we invite you to reflect on your own hopes in the light of Christ’s coming, to take courage from SAT-7’s viewers in the MENA, and to lift it all to God in prayer. This daily devotional reminds us that wherever we are and whatever we are facing, we all held by the same hope in Emmanuel, God with us.
Each day during Advent, you’ll discover:
- A daily Bible verse on hope
- A biblical devotion on a situation where you may need hope
- A story from a SAT-7 viewer in the Middle East who is facing similar circumstances
- A short prayer point and ideas for further reflection
